Abstract
The academic study of the Jewish phenomenon in Sub-Saharan Africa has grown steadily over the past two decades+. Scholars come from an array of disciplines and from across the globe. As inter-disciplinary as it is, this vibrant field is also located particularly within conversations in both Jewish Studies and Africana Studies. However, no field-wide interrogation has yet occurred. To begin to address this lacuna, this paper will contribute to staging the next set conversations.
