Israel – United States Relations Under The 48th United States President – Five Seas Strategy of Israel
Abstract
The article analyzes Israel–U.S. relations amid systemic international change and declining alliance certainty. Although the alliance remains resilient, it is becoming increasingly transactional and politicized. Israel should therefore reduce strategic overdependence on the United States while preserving the partnership. Its proposed Five Seas Strategy links the Caspian, Black, Eastern Mediterranean, Red, and Persian Gulf regions through interconnected maritime corridors, strengthening Israel’s flexibility, regional networks, strategic depth, and autonomy within an emerging multipolar international order.
